Can you believe it’s been nearly two years since I wrote about Choosing The Perfect Sofa for Small Spaces? So when Snug Shack’s email dropped into my inbox with their Sofa in a Box, I have to say I was intrigued. Space or lack of it is seriously lacking in most of our homes and then there’s the inconvenience of having to wait weeks/months for delivery.

With the influx of mattresses being delivered promptly in a box in recent years, it appears that our desire to update our homes quickly and efficiently is on the increase. As an impatient person, I can see the appeal of ordering a sofa and having delivered within days rather than months.

Or as in my case, arguing that they should have before having to rebuild from scratch. Snug Shack’s online video is a relevation as to how easy their sofas are to put together.

There’s also the added bonus of it being delivered in a box if you’re not quite there with the decor as it’ll be protected until you’ve finished with the paint brush.

Arriving in a compact box, the Snug Shack sofa easily fits through the toughest of spaces, including apartments with tight doorframes and awkward multi-storey stairways. The Design…

As you’d expect, a lot of thought has gone into not only the practicalities of getting your sofa delivered within days and through even the narrowest of doors and halls, but its comfort factor too.

It’s been ergonomically designed with comfort in mind. Deep seating, curved arms create the perfect seating to curl up with the latest on Netflix or with a good book or two.

The Perfect Footstool…

Perfectly proportioned, the Snug Shack footstool is an added bonus to the elegant lines of their sofa design. I like the way it transforms the sofa into a corner chaise with the flexibility of being able to choose which side of the sofa you want to add it to. My idea of heaven as I do like to stretch out whilst watching the TV.

And if space is tight with no room for an additional coffee table, it makes for a great alternative coffee table for when you have guests. 

Easy Care Fabric

Both designs are upholstered in stain-resistant Easy Care fabric. The only downside (if you see it like that) is the lack of colour choices. Snug Shack have been clever though as they have launched this sofa with what are deemed to be the most popular when it comes to buying for our homes. Available in three-colour options dark grey; light grey and a rich teal. There is a new coral colour coming soon which I really like the sound off and would definitely consider for our middle living room which is limited on space and narrow openings.

You can also personalise your sofa and footstool with a choice of two mid-century modern solid wood tapered legs in either black or brown.
